salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 + superannuation

About the role:

The primary purpose of the Human Resources Process Manager is to organise, coordinate, optimise and evaluate the People Plan activities to ensure they meet business needs and drive a positive employee experience. To achieve this, you are responsible for providing expertise for HR processes from talent acquisition to onboarding, performance management and HR analytics. With a unique combination of people and data skills, your analytical abilities are used to ensure there is data driven approach to decision making. As a result, all stakeholders are well informed, have clear expectations and the employee experience is one which is both seamless and confident. You drive operational excellence while being a champion of our values and behaviours.

Essentials for success:

  • Bachelor degree qualification
  • At least 5 year’s practical experience
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies (eg. Lean or Six Sigma)
  • Proven experience with data science (strong analytical abilities)

Very helpful to have:

  • Previous 'start- up' work environment
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in contemporary learning and development methods
  • Innovative methods for sharing consistent information at scale
  • Systems management (sourcing through to implementation)

Strategic Sourcing

  • Recommend a commercial sourcing approach
  • Work with key suppliers (eg. recruitment agencies) to negotiate preferred business terms
  • Proactively monitor the performance of key commercial arrangements
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach across all HR activities through the lens of time, cost and quality
  • Ensure a robust approach to procurement is applied


Management & Reporting

Using data science methodology:

‐ Analyse data from the identified employee experience touchpoints to inform process improvements

‐ Develop an approach to measuring the selection and retention of quality staff

‐ Ensure key performance indicators (KPI) are aligned to business goals and regularly reviewed

‐ Manage and monitor key people metrics

‐ Design and develop regular HR Reporting eg. People Scorecard

‐ Develop tools to monitor the effectiveness of key HR processes

Operational Excellence

  • Manage, maintain and communicate the employment policies for the organisation
  • Using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, identify opportunities for optimisation
  • Stay current and informed of key legislation, innovations and technologies
  • Regularly review and analyse data, identify trends and make the required adjustments based on data
  • Review financial costs and take action to ensure budgets are maintained
  • Projects are managed on time, to cost and quality
  • Maintain and manage the actions, issues, risks and at all times understand dependencies
